    Make sure you meet the criteria for lifetime or student membership listed above.

    Email the secretary

    Send your full name, address, phone number and immigration status to the secretary.

  3. 3

    Pay the fee

    We will reply with e-transfer details. Lifetime membership is $150 and student membership is $50.

  4. 4

    Welcome to TMS

    You are added to the member list and start receiving invitations to every event.

Registration is handled by the secretary at secretary@torontomalayaleesamajam.com. Please mention whether you are applying for lifetime or student membership.

Questions people often ask

Who can become a member of TMS?
Anyone of Malayalee heritage who is at least 18 and a Canadian citizen or permanent resident can take lifetime membership. International students and open work permit holders can join as student members.
How do I register?
Email the secretary with your full name, address, phone number and immigration status. We will confirm the fee payment options and add you to the member list.
Do I need to be a member to attend events?
Most events welcome guests, though members get priority and discounted pricing. Keralolsavam stage slots are reserved for members.
Where are the centres?
The East Centre is at 430 Passmore Ave in Scarborough and the West Centre is at 6780 Davand Dr in Mississauga. Both open for programs and meetings.
I am new to Toronto. Can TMS help?
Yes. Reach out to the secretary and we will connect you with members who can help with settling in, from housing tips to finding a Malayalee doctor or grocery store.
